One injured in Grand Forks bicycle-vehicle crash

GRAND FORKS — A automobile collided with a bicycle in Grand Forks at 4:34 p.m. on Monday, April 10.

Based on a press launch from the Grand Forks Police Division, officers have been dispatched to the world of Eighth Avenue South and Cherry Avenue.

The GFPD’s preliminary investigation exhibits a 1986 Dodge pickup was touring eastbound within the 700 block of Eighth Avenue South when it collided with a bicycle that had been touring westbound.

“The bicyclist was handled on scene by first-responders and ultimately transported to Altru Hospital for additional analysis,” the discharge stated.

The motive force of the pickup remained on scene till he was ultimately launched. No citations have been issued.

Helping the GFPD have been the Grand Forks Fireplace Division and Altru paramedics.
