Grants for honey bee research available in North Dakota
BISMARCK — Grant proposals are being sought for honey bee health research in North Dakota.
According to a release from the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, proposals can be for any or all of the following topics:
- Tropilaelaps mites.
- Varroa mites.
- Honey bee nutrition.
- Nosema.
- Genetics and breeding.
Multiple grants may be awarded, and proposals funding partial projects or provided extensions to existing projects will be considered, the release said.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, Nov. 17.
