Grand Forks students earn award at North Dakota Science and Engineering Fair
GRAND FORKS – Sudiksha Singhal, a pupil at Purple River Excessive College, was named a first-place finalist within the North Dakota State Science and Engineering Truthful.
Singhal, who obtained a gold plaque and a jacket, certified to compete on the 2022 Regeneron Worldwide Science and Engineering Truthful subsequent month in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rebecca Sather and Olivia Whitney, each Purple River Excessive College college students, have been chosen as first alternates and every obtained a silver plaque. As alternates, they are going to be invited to exhibit their mission on the truthful in Atlanta if a finalist from their area can not attend.
Different Grand Forks public faculty college students earned awards and recognition on the occasion held March 31-April 1 at UND.
Junior Division winners from the northeast area are: Elroy Schroeder Center College college students Kenai Auch, fifth place; Ella Lizakowski, third place; and Layton Pribula, fourth place. They every obtained a silver plaque. South Center College college students Sonakshi Singhal, first place, and Amaa Wijetunga, second place, every obtained a gold plaque.
College students within the senior and junior divisions who obtained particular awards, reminiscent of money and certificates from numerous organizations that encourage college students’ curiosity in science and engineering, included:
Elroy Schroeder Center College college students Jacob Kehrwald, Layton Pribula, McKayla Sagini and Blake Solberg;
Purple River Excessive College college students Rebecca Sather, Olivia Whitney and Sudiksha Singhal; and
South Center College college students Sonakshi Singhal and Amaa Wijetunga.
