Colorado vs. North Dakota State tickets: Cheapest price, date for college football season opener | Sporting News
College football is back. And Colorado vs. North Dakota State will get us started with their first ever matchup.
The Buffaloes became one of the most talked about programs in 2023 with Deion Sanders’s first season at the helm. The hype didn’t live up, as they finished the season 4-8 after winning their first three games. But the new season also means a new conference as Colorado joins the Big 12 now. It’ll face two of its former Pac-12 opponents this season as it tries to live up to the Sanders standard in 2024.
First up, the Buffaloes will take on the North Dakota State Bison. They may be an FCS team, but they’re the best there is. Literally. They’ve won nine national championships in the past 12 seasons, establishing them as the most dominant FCS program to exist. NDSU last won in a title 2021, falling in the semifinals last season.
As a new era of college football begins, NDSU and Colorado are in for a dogfight as they try to start their seasons on the right foot.
It all begins at Folsom Field in Boulder on August 29.

Colorado vs. North Dakota State football tickets

Tickets for Colorado vs. NDSU are available on StubHub. The game is set for Thursday, Aug. 29 at 8 p.m. ET (6 p.m. MT) in Boulder.
Despite it being the first game of the season, and Colorado’s first game as a member of the Big 12, tickets are relatively affordable for fans ready to see the action. The cheapest tickets for the programs’ first matchup are currently going for about $130 a piece, as of July.

A man was arrested in North Dakota in connection with a November murder in Durham County.
Deputies said 28-year-old Alberto Flores died after he was shot on Sunday morning outside of a business on Guess Road.
Carlos Anuel Medina Robles was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Luis Alberto Flores. The Durham County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division and the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, and U.S. Marshals Service were able to track Robles down.
On Thursday, the U.S. Marshals Service found Robles in Ward, North Dakota. He was taken into custody.
Extradition proceedings are pending.
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) — A man wanted in connection with a Durham homicide case has been taken into custody in North Dakota, the Durham County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
Carlos Anuel Medina Robles was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 28-year-old Alberto Flores in November.
On Nov. 2, Flores was found shot dead outside a business in the 6100 block of Guess Road.
Investigators developed Robles as the suspect and determined that he had left the state. On Thursday, U.S. marshals found and arrested him in Ward County, North Dakota
Extradition proceedings are pending.
The FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, and U.S. Marshals Service all assisted the sheriff’s office with the case.
