Nebraska youth corrections employee seriously injured after assault
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Nebraska Division of Correctional Providers reported an worker on the Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility was critically injured after an assault Monday.
The employees member went to a hospital and officers decided they’ve a severe harm.
In response to the discharge, the inmate punched the worker a number of instances within the head when the worker tried to restrain the inmate after stories of the inmate making an attempt to bodily transfer across the employees member and “refused a number of directives.”
There’s an investigation underway.
