Nebraska seeking applicants for $700 million in ARPA grants
LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Examiner) — The State of Nebraska is searching for candidates for greater than $700 million value of grants to assist the state and native economies get well from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nebraska obtained $1.04 billion from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and the Nebraska Division of Financial Improvement was charged with distributing $723 million of these funds for issues resembling enterprise growth, entrepreneurship, internships, crime prevention and reasonably priced housing.
On Tuesday, the DED introduced it should open purposes for the primary spherical of applications in September, with further funding alternatives persevering with via the autumn of 2024.
