Northeast Missouri man struck and killed while running on US 61
PALMYRA, Mo. (WGEM) – A Vandalia, Mo., man was struck by a automobile and killed Friday evening on US 61, simply south of Palmyra.
In accordance with Missouri State Freeway Patrol, a Hannibal juvenile was driving southbound on US 61 when Austin C. Taylor, 30, bumped into the roadway.
MSHP stated the 16-year-old boy struck Taylor together with his 2008 Chrysler City and Nation.
Taylor was pronounced useless on the scene at 9:32 p.m.
