Two people killed, one seriously injured Saturday in west central Minnesota intersection crash

EAST LAKE LILLIAN TOWNSHIP — Each drivers are lifeless following a crash Saturday afternoon on Minnesota Freeway 7 between Lake Lillian and Cosmos, and a passenger was significantly injured.

August Faber, 86, of Lake Lillian, was driving a 2021 Ford Edge westbound on Freeway 7, and Jacob Thomas Dahlheimer, 35, of Faribault, Minnesota, was driving a 2019 GMC Yukon southbound on 195th Road Southeast when the autos collided on the intersection, based on the Minnesota State Patrol.

Each males died from their accidents within the crash reported at 4:32 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. Each airbags deployed, however neither was carrying a seat belt. Highway situations have been dry, and it’s unknown if alcohol was an element within the crash, based on the report.

Gertrude Faber, 83, of Lake Lillian, a passenger within the Ford, was transported to Hennepin County Medical Middle in Minneapolis with life-threatening accidents. She was carrying a seat belt.

Aiding on the crash scene in East Lake Lillian Township of Kandiyohi County have been the Meeker County Sheriff’s Workplace, Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Workplace and Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Lake Lillian Fireplace Division and Ambulance, Cosmos Fireplace Division, Life Hyperlink Helicopter, and Hutchinson Ambulance.
