Top 2023 Minnesota football recruit Jaxon Howard includes Gophers in his final four

The No. 1 soccer recruit in Minnesota’s Class of 2023, Jaxon Howard of Robbinsdale Cooper, has narrowed his faculty option to 4 faculties: Minnesota, Miami, LSU and Michigan. 

“The previous 3 years I’ve been blessed to be provided by over 60 superb faculties. I constructed real relationships with so many coaches & worth on a regular basis they’ve spent with me,” Howard introduced Monday, noting that he has visited 41 faculties and can now make official visits at his closing 4 choices this week. 

Howard will begin his official visits by heading to the College of Minnesota June 10-12, adopted by Michigan June 17-19, LSU June 21-23 and Miami June 24-26. 

Howard performs tight finish and defensive finish at Robbinsdale Cooper within the Twin Cities, however 247Sports analyst Allen Trieu says he is a “uncommon specimen” on protection who might play up and down the line of defense in faculty. 

247Sports ranks Howard because the No. 87 recruit within the nation for the Class of 2023, and the No. 1 recruit in Minnesota.

Howard’s father, Willie Howard, is the top coach at Robbinsdale Cooper. He performed at Stanford and spent one season within the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings.
