ST. PAUL — Firefighters who’ve been damage or killed within the line of responsibility can be honored throughout the state Sunday.

Governor Tim Walz has ordered all American and Minnesota flags at state and federal buildings be lowered in honor of Minnesota Fallen Firefighters Memorial Day.

As is the annual custom, flags can be flown at half-staff from dawn to sundown to acknowledge the sacrifice of these first responders.
