1 injured in explosion and fire at North Dakota oil field
WILLISTON, N.D. — One individual was severely burned in an explosion and hearth at an oil discipline in western North Dakota, hearth officers stated.
The explosion was reported about 10:30 p.m. Friday at a saltwater disposal website north of Alexander on U.S. 65 in McKenzie County, the Williston Hearth Division stated in a Fb publish.
Preliminary studies indicated a number of tanks exploded. The reason for the explosion and hearth stays below investigation, the fireplace division stated.
One man was handled for extreme burns after which flown to a regional trauma middle, in accordance with the assertion.
No different accidents had been reported.
The fireplace was extinguished about 1:15 .m. Saturday.
