Search warrant leads to recovery of 10k fentanyl pills, illegal firearms in Minneapolis

Legislation enforcement in Minneapolis seized hundreds of fentanyl tablets and several other unlawful firearms through the execution of a search warrant on Friday evening.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Workplace stated the Violent Offenders Process Pressure (VOTF), Minneapolis SWAT and different regulation enforcement members executed the search warrant within the space of Broadway and Emersion Ave in North Minneapolis. 

Throughout the search, detectives recovered round 10,000 fentanyl tablets and eight illegally owned firearms, the press launch states.

Whereas executing the warrant, regulation enforcement stated there have been a number of “uncooperative” folks and a few who tried to flee out a window, however they had been shortly caught.

The sheriff’s workplace stated 11 folks had been arrested and booked into custody. They didn’t say whether or not anybody has been formally charged. 

The search warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation of unlawful narcotic gross sales and weapons possession in north Minneapolis in connection to Operation Endeavor, in accordance with the sheriff’s workplace.
