The Minnesota Division of Human Rights launched a report Wednesday outlining the findings of its investigation into whether or not the Minneapolis Police Division has engaged in discriminatory practices towards individuals of colour over the previous decade in violation of the Minnesota Human Rights Act, the state’s civil rights legislation. The division opened the investigation on June 1, 2020, days after former Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd. Learn the report under.
