None hurt, some displaced after north Minneapolis apartment fire
MINNEAPOLIS — Fireplace burned by way of the highest flooring of a three-story house constructing in north Minneapolis Sunday morning.
Firefighters noticed heavy hearth after they first arrived to the 1300 block of forty fourth Avenue North round 7:15 a.m., in line with the Minneapolis Fireplace Division. The fireplace additionally prolonged into the attic.
Crews lower a gap within the roof to maintain flames from spreading. The fireplace was ultimately extinguished.
Nobody was harm. Two flats have been deemed uninhabitable, and the Pink Cross is helping a few dozen residents.
