MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KTTC) – The Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx put out a statement on Instagram regarding the tragic loss of Minneapolis Police Officer Jamal Mitchell.
The Timberwolves and Lynx mourn the loss of Minneapolis Police Officer Jamal Mitchell, who died tragically last night protecting our community. Our sincere condolences go out to Officer Mitchell’s family, loved ones, the families of all impacted, and the Minneapolis Police Department.

Missing: Faith Dantzler, 12, last seen at Minneapolis’ Anderson Middle School
MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl and need the public’s help.
Faith Abraia Dantzler was last seen Friday morning at Anderson Middle School, located just east of Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
Dantzler is described as a Black girl who stands 5 feet 3 inches tall, with brown eyes and braided hair that’s black, white and pink.
She was last seen wearing a black sweater featuring an “action figure,” as well as gray pants and a black backpack.
Police say she lives near East 36th Street and Stevens Avenue South and “is known to frequent the Wittier Recreation Center.”

West Point Glee Club to perform in Minneapolis
In honor of Veterans Day, West Point Glee Club of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, has traveled to Minneapolis to present a free public concert. The 60-voice Glee Club with Constance Chase, conductor, and Andrea Shaut, collaborative pianist, will present a program of beauty, inspiration, and fun, also featuring the a cappella groups, The Knightingales and The Knightcaps. Catch the concert on Saturday, Nov. 9 in the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 4 p.m.
