Man dies after assault in Minneapolis

A person is useless after an assault Friday morning in Minneapolis and a person on the scene was booked for homicide, in line with the Minneapolis Police Division.

About 10:15 Friday morning, police from the First Precinct arrived on the 600 block of First Avenue North to the report of an assault, a Minneapolis Police Division information launch mentioned. They situated an unconscious 50-year-old man. Regardless of emergency help, the person died on the scene.

The Minneapolis Police Forensic Division processed the scene and picked up proof and the division’s murder division is investigating, the discharge mentioned.

A 33-year-old man on the scene was taken to Hennepin Healthcare and later booked for homicide on the Hennepin County Jail, the discharge mentioned.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will launch the deceased man’s title and reason for dying.
