Irish pub ‘Flannery’s’ to close in Milwaukee after 25 years in business

MILWAUKEE — Irish pub “Flannery’s” will probably be closing its doorways on the finish of the month after 25 years in enterprise in Milwaukee.

In response to our companions at OnMilwaukee, the bar will formally announce its “Final Name” on the finish of service on Sunday, Jan. 29. Steve Smith opened the bar at 425 E. Wells St. in September of 1997.

The constructing was lately bought by JT Wells Milwaukee LLC., “Taylors.” In response to Flannery’s, they’ve new plans for the situation within the months forward.

OnMilwaukee reviews that the staff had been notified of the closing final week. Some will switch to Flannery’s Grafton location contained in the Fireplace Ridge Golf Membership.

There will probably be a Comfortable Hour Thank You Occasion on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will probably be free appetizers from 4 p.m. to six p.m.
