Milwaukee Brewers celebrate series win over Chicago Cubs in NLDS
The Milwaukee Brewers celebrate their playoff series win over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at American Family Field, to advance to the National League Championship Series.
The Milwaukee Brewers are moving onto the National League Championship Series for the first time since 2018.
Fans can now buy merch to celebrate the occasion — and get outfitted for the next round of postseason games.
The sleek NLCS T-shirts seen on field after the Game 5 victory are now available online in the MLB Shop. The black short-sleeve shirt has a simple gold diamond design and a white outline of the Brewers’ ball-in-glove logo.
Men’s shirts are going for $41.99, women’s shirts for $39.99, women’s plus sizes for $44.99 and youth sizes for $31.99.
A charcoal-colored NLDS Champions hat is also available for $37.99, featuring celebratory gold embroidery and a navy-and-yellow baseball diamond in the center.
“October Baseball” shirts are still available at the online store, as are ball caps with the MLB postseason logo on the right side.
A sign of the Brewers’ progression: A navy NL Central “Division Champs” men’s T-shirt design is now on clearance for $18.99.
When is the Brewers Team Store open?
Additional merch will likely become available at the Brewers Team Store, located inside the left-field gate entrance at American Family Field, 1 Brewers Way, Milwaukee.
The store is open on non-game days 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Hours will vary on the days of postseason games, call the store at (414) 902-4750 for more information.
What does NLCS mean?
If you’re a Wisconsinite just tuning into the Brewers hype (no judgement), here’s how the playoffs work and what NLCS means.
The Brewers are part of the National League (NL). With their Game 5 victory over the Chicago Cubs, the Brewers won the National League Division Series.
Now, the Brewers move onto the best-of-seven National League Championship Series (NLCS) against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The winner goes to the World Series, facing either the Seattle Mariners or the Toronto Blue Jays — whichever team emerges from the American League Championship Series (ALCS).

CC Sabathia and more Wisconsin sports stars celebrate the Brewers playoff series win over the Cubs

Milwaukee Brewers fans near and far were celebrating the satisfying playoff series win over the Chicago Cubs on Oct. 11 at American Family Field.
That included past franchise legends like CC Sabathia, who was part of a special Brewers team that ended a 26-year postseason drought in 2008.
The 2025 team just ended a drought of its own: a streak of six straight playoff series losses dating back seven years. Sabathia, a recent inductee into the Hall of Fame, is ecstatic for the franchise and community.
Sabathia tweeted after the Brewers’ 3-1 win in Game 5 of the National League Division Series: “Congrats to the Brewers and all the fans!! The city deserved that”
Sabathia was loving the Brewers crowd at American Family Field late in the game:
Brewers playoff reactions: JJ Watt, Derek Watt, Brandon Jennings, Tyler Herro, Thanasis Antetokounmpo celebrate
Here are some of the best reactions from other Wisconsin sports stars:
Meanwhile, die-hard Brewers supporter Sam Dekker, a former Wisconsin basketball star, recalled a quote from the late Kobe Bryant with a GIF on X.
It was of Bryant proclaiming: “Job finished? I don’t think so.”
Bryant famously made that comment during a press conference after his Los Angeles Lakers went up 2-0 in the 2009 NBA Finals over the Orlando Magic. A reporter had asked why he wasn’t smiling with his team leading the series.
The Lakers would go on to win that series, 4-1.
Dekker is right.
While the Brewers got the monkey off their backs in winning a playoff series, this team has bigger goals: a World Series.
Next in getting closer to that goal is the National League Championship Series and a date with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The winner advances to the World Series.

The backstory:
According to a criminal complaint, Milwaukee police were called about a person with a weapon at Midtown Center around 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 4. The caller said the people were in a car.
When officers found a car at the described location and turned on their marked squad’s lights and sirens, court filings said the driver put the car in drive and sped away.
Prosecutors said it sparked a chase that reached speeds greater than 75 mph in residential areas, during which the driver ran multiple stop signs and a red light.
The complaint said the pursuit stretched just under three miles, but ultimately ended less than a half-mile from where it began when the driver lost control and crashed into a home near 54th and Melvina.
The driver, identified in court filings as Richard, got out and tried to run. An officer caught up to him and had to “use force” to take him into custody. A passenger got away without being identified.
A registration search of the crashed car determined it was reported stolen, per the complaint.
