Bay View burglary, armed robbery suspect sought: Milwaukee police

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee police are asking for your help to identify a man suspected in a burglary and armed robbery in the city’s Bay View neighborhood.

What we know:
Officials say around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, the man pictured in this post is suspected of a burglary near Clement and Russell. About 45 minutes later, he is believed to have committed a robbery near Delaware and Russell.
The suspect forced entry into a residence and demanded currency and fled on foot. He then forcefully took items from a victim in the area and fled on foot, officials said.

Police say the suspect being sought is described as a male, Caucasian, 30 to 35 years old with short dark hair. He is approximately 6′ tall and weighs 200 to 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan baseball hat, a black t-shirt with “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” on the front, and tan pants.

Milwaukee County Jail inmate death; Waukesha County deputies investigating

MILWAUKEE – An inmate died at the Milwaukee County Jail on Wednesday, May 21.
Medical emergency
What we know:
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said a 33-year-old man experienced a medical emergency Wednesday evening around 7:41 p.m.

Around 7:41 p.m., the MCSO said a correctional officer conducting a housing unit inspection was alerted by an occupant that his cellmate appeared to be unconscious and in medical distress. The officer declared a medical emergency.
Multiple officers and supervisors then responded and began lifesaving measures, including two Narcan deployments.

At about 7:51 p.m., emergency personnel from the Milwaukee Fire Department arrived and continued lifesaving measures.
The man was pronounced deceased at 8:19 p.m.

The MCSO said the man was booked into custody in late November on a single felony charge of possession of methamphetamine.
What’s next:
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the in-custody death.

Handful of Chicago Sky games will air on local TV in Milwaukee

Milwaukee fans can catch WNBA games on local television for four contests this season, with WMLW airing Chicago Sky games as well as 30-minute specials on the team called “Sky Unguarded.”
Now known as “The M,” the over-the-air channel will broadcast games on Sundays, including May 25 (against the Los Angeles Sparks, 5 p.m. CT), June 22 (against Atlanta, 2 p.m.), July 6 (against Minnesota, 6 p.m.) and Aug. 8 (against Phoenix, 5 p.m.).
The Sky lost their first game of the season against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on May 17. The 2021 WNBA champion Sky feature a number of high-profile players, including Angel Reese, Courtney Vandersloot and Kamilla Cardoso.
The “Sky Unguarded” news magazine program airs at 4:30 p.m. May 25, 1:30 p.m. June 22 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 30.
The channel can be found using an over-the-air antenna on 49.1 or 58.3, and Spectrum customers can find the channel on 7, 8, 608, 982 or 1007. DirecTV customers can find the channel at 49, and AT&T customers can locate The M on 7 or 1007.
The WNBA’s surge in popularity in recent years has led to expansion, with a new team in San Francisco this year and teams coming for Toronto and Portland. A group in Milwaukee has also explored submitting a bid for a future team.
