Michigan’s largest garage sale taking place this weekend

(WNDU) – Michigan’s largest storage sale takes place each second week in August.

From New Buffalo to Detroit, over 200 miles and greater than 250 gross sales are taking place in yards, garages, and parking tons alongside U.S. 12 Heritage Path.

The gross sales characteristic all types of things, from kitchen items to knickknacks.

Began in 2003, many distributors have been collaborating within the gross sales for over ten years, and say it will get larger yearly.

“This isn’t a sale the place you come and your eyes span what’s there and you then simply say thanks and go away. This isn’t that sort of a sale. Individuals come and so they simply preserve bringing stuff to the desk and say can I set this right here whereas I am going look somewhat bit extra, and you realize, in order that’s the way it goes,” sayd Barbara Dempsey, the Edwardsburg Museum’s Vice Chair.

Whereas some gross sales ended Saturday, many, together with the gross sales on the Edwardsburg Museum, will go till 4 p.m. on Sunday.
