Michigan man charged after he allegedly drove truck at woman in ORV, swerved to cause crash
CRAWFORD COUNTY, MI – A Michigan man has been charged after he allegedly deliberately drove a truck at a lady driving an off-road automobile and struck her head-on.
John Wesley Fortress, 40, of Grayling was arrested at his house in Grayling on Sunday and arraigned within the forty sixth District Courtroom in Crawford County for felonious assault with a harmful weapon, home violence second offense and failure to report a crash.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Houghton Lake Put up responded to the non-public damage crash, which occurred on West North Down River Street close to Stephan Bridge Street in Grayling Township at 8 p.m. on April 13.
The feminine sufferer stated she was returning house from work in a side-by-side when Fortress allegedly approached in the wrong way in a truck and swerved to strike her head-on.
