Former Michigan Wide Receiver Lands New Coaching Job

Former Michigan wideout Derrick Alexander is able to coach the following era of large receivers. 

On Tuesday, Wayne State College formally introduced that Alexander shall be its large receivers coach for the 2022 season.

“I’m extraordinarily enthusiastic about becoming a member of our soccer employees,” Wayne State head coach Paul Winters stated. “He brings expertise on the highest stage. He has coached and performed at that stage and can do an incredible job of instructing the large receivers the finer factors of taking part in the place.”

Alexander confirmed the following chapter of his profession on Twitter, writing, “Glad to be again dwelling within the ‘D’ Able to work!” 

Over the course of his Michigan profession, Alexander had 125 catches for 1,977 yards and 22 touchdowns. 

Alexander was then chosen by the Cleveland Browns within the first spherical of the 1994 NFL Draft. He performed within the NFL till 2002.  

Solely time will inform if Alexander can develop right into a gifted large receivers coach.
