Body of missing west Michigan boy, 1, recovered in creek, officials say
The physique of a 1-year-old boy who went lacking Sunday in Byron Township has been discovered, officers mentioned.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned rescuers recovered Noah Jordan’s physique in Buck Creek at about 9 a.m. Monday. He was discovered about one mile north of the place he disappeared, they mentioned.
Noah disappeared at about 11 a.m. Sunday from the 6000 block of Ford Avenue, close to Division and M-6.
Authorities began their search in air, on land, and in water simply after the boy disappeared. They suspended their air and floor searches at about 10 p.m. Sunday.
“Our hearts are with the household and pals of Noah throughout this tough time,” the Kent County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned in an announcement. “(We) will proceed to assist the household throughout this time of grieving.”
