Report finds Catholic church in Kansas covered up sexual abuse of children by priests for decades
“The abuses revealed throughout the investigation had a profound impact on the victims, the households of victims and our job power members,” KBI director Kirk Thompson wrote in a letter to the legal professional basic accompanying the report. “These victims, whose lives have been traumatically affected by what occurred to them as a toddler, have proven hope, energy and perseverance within the face of maximum adversity.”
