Kansas man sentenced to life in prison for killing his wife

Prosecutors alleged that Colby, of Hays, “feloniously and  intentionally with premeditation” shot Kristen in the head with a revolver and then lied to investigators by telling them she had taken her own life. Kristen’s family denied she was ever suicidal. Colby was arrested in July 2021.
