One dead after crash on slushy patch from snow in rural Iowa

CAVITY REGION, Iowa (WOWT) – A single person passed away adhering to a collision in country Cavity Area, Iowa Monday early morning.

According to the record, the collision was around 10:22 a.m. near 340th & Freeway 39, eastern of Ida Grove.

A 54-year-old of Shawnee, Kansas blew up on a slushy spot from blowing snow, striking the approaching cars and truck’s ideal side driven by a 19-year-old of Dunlap, Iowa.

It’s reported the 54-year-old recognized as Jan Gentry passed away at the scene and also the 19-year-old was required to a healthcare facility with non-life-threatening injuries.
