Kids in eastern Iowa make a run for it in Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Folks in japanese Iowa made a run for it within the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.
The 5K in Cedar Rapids and Dubuque kicked off Thursday morning.
On the beginning line in Cedar Rapids, a line of children had been excited to start their dash in Greene Sq..
The 5K went via downtown and out close to “Mount Trashmore.”
The cash raised within the run goes to Finest Buddies, a gaggle that works with individuals who have mental and developmental disabilities.
