CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa State Patrol says it stopped greater than 3-thousand drivers throughout Distracted Driving Care Week.

Care is a nationwide program that brings regulation enforcement collectively to scale back car accidents.

From April 4th-through the eleventh, Iowa State Patrol stopped greater than 3,400 drivers. Greater than 2-thousand of these have been for rushing violations. 25 stops have been for folks driving beneath the affect of medication or alcohol. There have been 35-total crashes, one in all which was deadly.

Troopers additionally assisted 245 drivers.
