Dysart 10-year-old named Kid Captain for Nebraska at Iowa game

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – A ten-year-old boy from Dysart would be the Child Captain this week for when the Iowa Hawkeyes tackle the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Kinnick on Friday.

The College of Iowa Stead Household Kids’s Hospital stated Dylan McGivern and his youthful brother have been recognized with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a situation that causes progressive muscle degeneration.

In a profile on UIHC’s web site, workers stated Dylan has at all times cherished baseball and soccer, however is not in a position to play due to his declining mobility.
