RUN(317) race series preparing for summer return

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Organizers of an area social run collection are counting down the times till its return.

That is the ninth yr for RUN(317), a collection of three.17-mile races that happen in several areas of Marion County.

The five-race collection begins June 23 in Speedway and wraps up October 6 in Fountain Sq..

Race director Jeff Graves says one of many highlights of the collection is the distinctive means folks can go to native neighborhoods.

“Our first occasion’s in Speedway, then we go to Lawrence, then we’re in Mass Ave., then we’re up in Carmel, Village of West Clay, and down in Fountain Sq.,” Graves mentioned. “Every a part of the town is exclusive and…folks get to run by Mass Ave., or down in Lockerbie — which is among the coolest areas of city.”
