IMPD: Man shot, killed on city’s east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person was shot and killed on the town’s east aspect Sunday afternoon.

Based on the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division, officers responded to the 4000 block of E. Michigan Avenue on a report of an individual shot. That is close to Irvington.

Officers arrived and located a person with gunshot wounds. The person was discovered behind a Pink Cadillac on the scene, police stated,

The person died on the scene, police stated.
