Gas prices surge nearly 40 cents in a month

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Sticker shock has once more taken over gasoline stations in Indiana, pushing out costs beneath $3.

The newest numbers from GasBuddy present Indiana’s common at $3.34 a gallon. That’s up 37 cents from final month.

Consultants say the rise is uncommon for this time of 12 months and blame provide.

December’s winter storm triggered a collection of outrages on the refineries that produce gasoline, jet gas and diesel.
