Falling tree kills Indianapolis siblings in Owen Co.

OWEN COUNTY, Ind. – Two siblings from Indianapolis died in Owen County after a falling tree hit them whereas they have been using with their mother and father in a golf cart over the weekend.

In keeping with the Owen County Sheriff’s Workplace, 911 dispatchers obtained a name round 2 p.m. Saturday that two kids had been injured at Indian Oaks Campground in Taylor Township.

When deputies arrived, they discovered an 8-year-old woman and 9-year-old boy affected by traumatic accidents.

The siblings, from Indianapolis, have been using in a golf cart with their mother and father when sturdy winds toppled what police described as a lifeless tree, which fell and hit them. The tree additionally broken a close-by automobile, police mentioned.
