Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Danny Pinter suffered a broken left ankle during the preseason finale against the Philadelphia Eagles and will miss the entire 2023 season.
Pinter exited the preseason finale during the second half of the game. On the first offensive play during the second half, Pinter’s ankle was rolled up on, and he had to be carted off the field.

The injury seemed pretty serious at the time as every single one of Pinter’s teammates came out to to the cart to show him support.

Pinter, a fifth-round pick in 2020, is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent following the 2023 season.
With Pinter out for the entire season, this opens up a spot for a fringe roster player like Wesley French to make the team. We also should expect the Colts to be very active on the waiver wire following roster cuts, which must be done by Tuesday.
