CEO Sherry Seiwert steps down from Downtown Indy Inc.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Downtown Indy, Inc. introduced that President and Chief Government Officer Sherry Seiwert will resign on the finish of the month.

Seiwart has been with the civic nonprofit since 1993.

Downtown Indy Inc.’s senior vp, Bob Schultz, will develop into the Interim president throughout the transition.

“I really feel just like the time is true,” Seiwart stated. ““Just lately, I’ve been considering what’s subsequent for me and what’s greatest for this group. I couldn’t in good conscience depart this group throughout a worldwide well being disaster and I felt that the continuity of management can be useful by means of the pandemic and what turned a restoration of our final devastation of Downtown. Downtown Indy Inc.’s Board Chairperson Invoice Browne and Board Member Krista Skidmore are looking for the following CEO to guide the group into the following decade.

Members of the nonprofit will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday at Hilbert Circle Theatre to debate tendencies impacting the downtown space.
