20-year-old arrested after a road rage incident led to gunfire on Indy’s south side

INDIANAPOLIS — A 20-year-old from Indianapolis has been arrested for legal recklessness and intimidation with a lethal weapon after a highway rage incident led to gunfire.

Indiana State Troopers responded to a 911 name reporting a highway rage incident at 1:00 p.m. on March 11.

In response to police, the 911 caller gave an in depth description of the suspect’s automobile.

The suspect was exiting from Interstate 465 onto Interstate 65 northbound on town’s south facet. Troopers have been already within the space responding to an unrelated crash.

Inside minutes, troopers noticed the automobile and have been capable of get the automobile pulled over.

In response to police, the driving force engaged in a highway rage incident with one other automobile and fired not less than one shot towards the automobile on I-465.

The suspect was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail.
