Unidentified man killed after crash in Clark County

MEMPHIS, Ind. (WISH) — A person is lifeless after a crash in northern Clark County, Indiana, about an hour and a half south of Indianapolis and twenty minutes north of Louisville.

Indiana State Police from the Sellersburg and Versailles posts started investigating two separate crashes on I-65 southbound Monday morning, which occurred 2 miles south of the Memphis Highway exit.

Officers say that shortly after midnight Sunday, Tee’untra Moore, of Frankfort, was driving a Ford Fusion with a flat tire, driving under the velocity restrict together with her hazards lights on, when she was hit by an unidentified driver of a black 2002 Honda Civic.

Moore’s car went off the street and got here to relaxation, whereas the opposite car entered the median and stopped partially within the left lane of I-65 southbound, investigators say.

In accordance with investigators, the unidentified driver of the car exited the automobile to face subsequent to it when he was struck by a Cadillac Escalade pushed by Martin Rodriguez of Greenwood. The unidentified driver was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Each Moore and Rodriguez had a number of passengers of their autos, a few of which acquired non-lethal accidents.

Investigators are working to find out the unidentified driver’s identification. Data found within the man’s car by investigators says the person might have been 26 years previous and had connections to the Indianapolis space.
