SULLIVAN, Ind. (WISH) — Sullivan County 911 dispatch acquired a number of calls Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. reporting a car crash close to US 41 and Johnson Road in Sullivan, Indiana, about 100 miles southwest of Indianapolis.

A number of callers stated that the car had struck a tree earlier than bursting into flames, with the driving force caught contained in the burning car.

A passerby, Darryn Bucklers, stopped his car and instantly pulled the driving force from the wreckage.

The motive force, who police recognized as Josiah Terry, 20, of Shelburn, Indiana, was taken to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for his accidents. His situation is unknown.

Investigators consider that Terry had fallen asleep earlier than going off the highway and crashing into the tree.
