Indiana hosting Ukrainian Olympians for training

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb introduced that the State of Indiana will host the Ukrainian males’s Olympic Greco-Roman Wresting Staff for coaching this summer time.

The workforce will prepare at Hammond Central Excessive College from July 7 to August 3.

In March, Governor Holcomb and Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers’ met with the Ambassador of Ukraine in Washington to debate methods to assist the nation.

Wrestlers will use the highschool’s state-of-the-art facility, which opened in 2021.

They may also meet and prepare with native wrestlers throughout their time in Indiana.

Preparations have been made doable by the state, Indiana Sports activities Corp, and the South Shore Conference and Guests Authority.
