Indiana Forage Council hosts inaugural Hoosier Hay Contest

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Indiana Forage Council (IFC), with help from Purdue Extension and SureTech Laboratories, is internet hosting a contest for Indiana producers who will harvest forage for hay or baleage for the 2022 hay season.

The Hoosier Hay Contest, sponsored by Huston Inc., seeks to advertise forage manufacturing, inform hay producers on the nutritive worth of their hay and encourage producers to pattern and take a look at their hay or baleage earlier than feeding it to livestock.
