Sheriff: Ferndale man tries to meet child for sex in Illinois, gets busted by undercover detectives

FERNDALE, Mich. (FOX 2) – A Ferndale, Mich. man who thought he was speaking with a lady on-line was arrested when he met up with undercover detectives in Illinois.

In keeping with the Lake County Sheriff’s Workplace in Illinois, Kyle J. Conner, 36, spent weeks messaging who he thought was a toddler youthful than 15, but it surely was actually a detective. Authorities say he requested the “baby” for nude images and despatched sexually specific images of himself.

Conner messaged the “baby” on Thursday and stated he was within the Chicagoland space for a conference. Authorities say he made plans to have intercourse with the woman and drove to fulfill her. Nevertheless, he was met by detectives who arrested him with out incident. 

He was charged with indecent solicitation of a kid, touring to fulfill a minor, and distributing dangerous materials. His bond was set at $1 million.
