Christmas Day crash in Illinois kills Duplin County man

McLEAN COUNTY, IL (WITN) – An Japanese Carolina man was killed in a Christmas Day car crash in Illinois.

McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder mentioned the single-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 74 close to Carlock, Illinois.

She recognized the sufferer as 71-year-old Herbert Wealthy III, of Wallace.

The Duplin County man’s van left the freeway and crashed.

The coroner mentioned he died from a number of blunt accidents and there was no proof that the chilly temperatures contributed to Wealthy’s loss of life.

The Illinois State Police and the McLean County Coroner’s Workplace proceed to research the crash.
