2 killed in wrong-way crash in Elk Grove Village, Illinois State Police say
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, In poor health. (WLS) — Two drivers had been killed in a north suburban head-on crash early Sunday morning, Illinois State Police stated.
The incorrect-way crash occurred in Elk Grove Village on Route 53 at Biesterfield Street round 2 a.m., police stated.

A car was touring southbound from Golf Street within the Route 53 northbound lanes and struck one other car head-on, police stated. The drivers of each automobiles had been pronounced lifeless.
Visitors was being diverted to Route 53 northbound to Biesterfield for the crash investigation, however all lanes had been reopened at roughly 5:38 a.m.
Police didn’t instantly present additional details about the crash.
