Man impersonates police officer, shoots other man following altercation in Detroit

DETROIT – Police are on the lookout for a person accused of pretending to be a police officer and taking pictures one other man in Detroit.

At about 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, a suspect shot a person in his 50s after they’d an altercation whereas driving, Detroit police mentioned.

The alleged shooter and the person who was shot had been reportedly driving individually in Detroit on Wednesday after they obtained right into a verbal altercation. Police say the suspect adopted the person to an space on Conant Road at Emery Road — between 7 Mile Street and East Outer Drive — recognized himself as a police officer and fired a shot on the man.

Detroit police are on the lookout for a person sporting a baseball hat with the phrase “police” printed on the entrance, and all black clothes.
