The Tigers (4-5) have an off day Monday, adopted by a six-game homestand in opposition to the New York Yankees (Tuesday-Thursday) and Colorado Rockies (Friday-Sunday), with one other off day subsequent Monday.

In opposition to the Yankees, left-hander Tyler Alexander is beginning the primary recreation of the collection. Left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez will pitch the second recreation, and righty Michael Pineda appears more likely to make his debut for the Tigers within the collection finale.

Pineda, an eight-year MLB veteran, signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract in spring coaching.
