Detroit Tigers’ Casey Mize lands on 10-day injured list with sprain

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Detroit Tigers positioned Casey Mize on the 10-day injured record with a proper elbow sprain. 

The 24-year-old reported elbow soreness after Thursday’s begin in opposition to the Kansas Metropolis Royals at Kauffman Stadium. He allowed two runs on six hits and two walks in 5 innings.
