Residents in Detroit’s sixth precinct could hear some explosions all through the day. Police don’t need anybody to be alarmed.

The division’s sixth precinct will likely be detonating munitions at Rouge Park, close to Pleasure Highway on Tuesday.

The police division’s work will start at 9 a.m.

“ALERT,” wrote the division’s sixth precinct Twitter account. “Beginning at 9 a.m. we will likely be detonating munitions at Rouge Park. This may go on all through the day. When you hear loud noises within the space of Pleasure and Lahser, please don’t be alarmed. Thanks in your endurance and cooperation.”
