Troopers work to keep Ohio roads safe this Thanksgiving holiday
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Ohio State Freeway Patrol troopers stated they are going to be “extremely seen and cracking down on these driving impaired and people failing to put on a security belt” this vacation weekend.
The enforcement begins at midnight on Nov. 23 and goes by way of 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 27.
Throughout final yr’s Thanksgiving weekend, troopers stated there have been 14 deadly accidents, with a complete of 17 folks killed.
Of these crashes, troopers stated seven concerned alcohol and/or medication and 9 victims weren’t sporting their seat belts.
