Man shot in Elyria Walmart parking lot, police investigating
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Elyria police are investigating a shooting in the city’s Walmart parking lot.
Around 4:54 p.m. Thursday, police responded to Walmart, located at 1000 Chestnut Commons, after receiving a 911 call that a man had been shot in the parking lot.
When they arrived, police said they found the man with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to University Hospitals for treatment.
Police said this is an isolated incident, and are investigating the circumstances surrounding it.
