Cleveland State Men’s Golf Concludes Fall Season With T10 Finish at Dayton Flyer Invitational

Kettering, OH-The Cleveland State men’s golf team wrapped up a successful fall campaign with a T-10 finish at the Dayton Flyer Invitational. After posting the second-lowest score in the afternoon wave yesterday, the Vikings battled tough conditions in carding an 18-over par 302 in the final round.

Brody Simms and Andrew Kaye each finished at 5-over par in a tie for 36th place individually. Simms carded a 4-over 75 in round three and Kaye closed with a 3-over 74. Both carded two birdies in their rounds on Tuesday.

Mason Frazier finished tied for 49th at 9-over for the three-round event, and Dillon Pendergast closed his first fall season with a T-51 finish at 10-over par. Frazier closed with a 76 and Pendergast posted 77 in the final round.

Rounding out the lineup, Dominik Cosic finished in 76th place at 26-over par. Playing as an individual, Ben Scheeff finished in 79th place at 37-over.

This concludes the fall season for the Vikings, who will now shift their focus to the spring season, slated to begin in February.
